Accademia was founded in the early seventies by the great technical experience in the production of luxury Italian shoes. The three founding partners joined forces and success to create a synergy that has been able to assert itself and carve out a significant share of the world market in the field of luxury footwear. In fact, since 1972, Accademia has changed its own reality starting from a small workshop to a structured company, with marketing managers and quality control, focusing more and more on innovation of its products and collections.
With the arrival of the 80s Accademia took on an international connotation starting with exports to the United States, Japan, Western Europe, the Arab countries and Australia.
After the political changes of 89, with a strong decade‐long experience in the world market, Accademia decided to expand its boundaries and introduce itself to Eastern Europe and Russia.
Realizing immediately the needs and taste of these countries, found an instant success thanks to the flexibility shown towards customers and maintaining its high standard of quality at all stages of production, from sales to delivery. A confirmation of this is the widespread presence today in cities throughout Eastern Europe and Russian influenced countries.
